China, southeast asia and the highest mountains of the world:
Asia has an exceptional position on this pages, since I travelled this continent very intense. This is partly due to the fact that I lived in China for half a year.
In this context I would like to recommend my illustrated book Ein halbes Jahr China, which is available online, however it is written in german. In the section Multimedia is a lot of material covering asia.
My personal favorite on my asian trips was a tour through Tibet. The spirituality in the monastries, as well as on the streets of Lhasa, together with the stunning scenery on the high planes and in the Himalaya belongs to the most impressing experiences I ever made.

Besides China, Vietnam and Cambodia are main areas of focus, together with Thailand, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Indonesia.
